Delta Sigma Phi’s Alpha Upsilon Chapter at Kansas State University proudly welcomed Dr. Adam Walker as an alumni initiate this year. As the President of the K-State Alumni Association and a key figure on campus, Dr. Walker brings an impressive legacy of leadership, mentorship, and connection to the Brotherhood.

Dr. Walker’s journey began at K-State, where he excelled as a track star during his undergraduate years. Following graduation, he worked under the renowned Dr. Pat Bosco (’69)—Alpha Upsilon alumnus and former Vice President for Student Life—serving as an admissions representative and helping shape the university experience for countless students.

His career later led him to the University of Memphis, where he spent several years working in athletics under Laird Veatch (’13), a fellow Alpha Upsilon alumni initiate and current Athletic Director at the University of Missouri. Last summer, Dr. Walker returned home to Manhattan, Kansas, to assume his prestigious role leading the top-ranked alumni association in the Big 12.

Dr. Walker’s ties to Alpha Upsilon run deep. In addition to his work with Dr. Bosco and Veatch, he shares a lasting friendship with Clifford Veatch (’86), a former chapter president and peer from his undergraduate days. His connections and influence strengthen Alpha Upsilon’s presence on campus and in the broader K-State community.

The chapter’s decision to initiate Dr. Walker reflects his enduring impact and the opportunities his leadership brings to Delta Sigma Phi. As an incredible campus resource, he helps foster relationships between undergraduates, alumni, and key university stakeholders. His guidance will undoubtedly enhance Alpha Upsilon’s ability to secure leadership roles in esteemed groups like the Student Alumni Board and Student Ambassadors.

Welcome to the Brotherhood, Dr. Walker! Your legacy of excellence and leadership exemplifies the spirit of Delta Sigma Phi.
