Each year, Delta Sigma Phi recognizes the chapters, volunteers, and undergraduate members whose commitment to leadership, brotherhood, and service strengthens the Fraternity and advances its mission. Through the annual awards program, the Fraternity celebrates excellence at every level, honoring both the collective achievements of chapters and the individual contributions of brothers whose leadership has made a lasting impact.
The following recipients were recognized for their accomplishments during the 2025-2026 academic year.

Individual Awards
While chapters provide the foundation for the Delta Sigma Phi experience, it is individual brothers and volunteers who inspire others through their leadership and service. The Fraternity's individual awards recognize those whose commitment has left a lasting impact on their chapters, campuses, and the brotherhood as a whole.
Outstanding Chapter Advisor Award
The Charles G. Bartell Outstanding Chapter Advisor Award recognizes volunteers who demonstrate exceptional dedication to supporting undergraduate members and strengthening the chapter experience.
Named in honor of Charles Bartell, Idaho '54, whose decades of service left an enduring mark on Delta Sigma Phi, the award celebrates advisors who go beyond routine responsibilities to serve as mentors, coaches, and trusted guides for undergraduate brothers.
The 2026 recipient is Dylan MacDowell, Ohio State '13.
Since helping re-establish the Alpha Iota Chapter at Ohio State, Dylan has remained deeply invested in the chapter's success. As lead chapter advisor, he has helped develop student leaders, strengthen chapter operations, and guide the chapter through some of its most challenging moments.
Among his many contributions, Dylan created leadership retreats for chapter officers designed to strengthen teamwork, trust, and collaboration. He has also provided steady guidance during difficult situations ranging from disciplinary matters to recruitment challenges, helping chapter leaders navigate uncertainty while maintaining the values and culture that define Alpha Iota.
More than an advisor, Dylan has become a trusted mentor to generations of undergraduate brothers. His willingness to support members both as leaders and as individuals has helped shape the chapter's continued success and reflects the spirit of the Charles G. Bartell Outstanding Chapter Advisor Award.
E. Allen James Outstanding Undergraduate Award
Among Delta Sigma Phi's highest individual honors, the E. Allen James Outstanding Undergraduate Award recognizes undergraduate members who have made the most significant contributions to their chapter, the Fraternity, and the greater campus community.
First presented in 1965 and later named in honor of former Executive Director E. Allen James, North Carolina State '65, the award celebrates undergraduate leaders whose impact reaches beyond a single position or accomplishment.
Dominic Mancini, Boise State '23
Dominic has emerged as one of the most influential student leaders in Boise State's fraternity community. Through his service in fraternity governance, he has worked to strengthen accountability, build collaboration among campus stakeholders, and create a more positive experience for fraternity members across campus. His leadership has earned recognition at both the campus and national levels while helping elevate the role of fraternity men as contributors to the university community.
Beyond his accomplishments, Dominic has demonstrated a deep commitment to service and advocacy. Through experiences such as Delta Sigma Phi's Civic Engagement Institute and national advocacy efforts in Washington, D.C., he has embraced opportunities to represent fraternity and sorority life while exploring how leadership can create meaningful change. Those experiences reinforced his belief that individuals can make a lasting difference when they use their voices and talents in service of others.
His dedication to leadership, advocacy, and strengthening the communities around him exemplifies the purpose of the E. Allen James Outstanding Undergraduate Award and the values of Delta Sigma Phi.
Jackson Williams, San Diego State '24
Jackson Williams has consistently elevated the organizations and communities he serves through a leadership style rooted in action, accountability, and service. Within Delta Sigma Phi, he led the chapter's transition to a new financial management system, developed the chapter's website, and strengthened chapter operations through multiple leadership roles.
His impact extended beyond the chapter as Vice President of Leadership & Development for the Interfraternity Council, where he helped secure $10,000 in fundraising support and played a key role in establishing new programming initiatives for the fraternity community. He also served as a leader for Dance Marathon and consistently sought opportunities to create systems and resources that would continue benefiting others long after his graduation.
Known as a builder and problem-solver, Jackson has focused not on recognition but on creating lasting improvements for the organizations he serves. His leadership, commitment to service, and dedication to helping others succeed embody the values celebrated by the E. Allen James Outstanding Undergraduate Award.
Order of the Sphinx
Established in 1985, the Order of the Sphinx recognizes undergraduate members who have made significant contributions to their chapters or to Delta Sigma Phi as a whole. Inductees are selected for their exceptional leadership, service, and dedication to advancing the Fraternity's mission.
