The brothers of the Epsilon Kappa chapter at Loyola University Chicago gathered on April 9 for their annual Senior Dinner, an event that brought together undergraduate members and alumni to celebrate another successful year and recognize the achievements of graduating seniors and scholarship recipients.
One of the evening's highlights was the presentation of the 2026 Dr. Tortorello Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship recognizes brothers who have demonstrated a strong commitment to academic achievement during their undergraduate experience. This year's selection process was especially competitive, with a record 11 applications submitted from chapter members.
Brothers Angelo Leventis '69 and Paul Davies '15 presented the awards during the dinner. After reviewing an impressive group of applicants, three brothers were selected as recipients of the 2026 scholarship: Brady Schmidt '24, Adi Zaveri '25, and John Murray '25. Their selection reflects the importance Epsilon Kappa places on academic success and personal growth.
The chapter also recognized 14 graduating seniors as they prepare to transition from undergraduate membership to alumni status. The annual Senior Dinner serves as an opportunity to reflect on the experiences, friendships, and accomplishments that have shaped each brother's time at Loyola University Chicago. While graduation marks the end of one chapter, it also represents the beginning of their lifelong connection to Delta Sigma Phi.
Events like the Senior Dinner highlight the relationships that continue to connect brothers across generations. By bringing together current students and alumni, Epsilon Kappa celebrates not only individual achievements but also the shared experiences that strengthen the chapter year after year.
Congratulations to scholarship recipients Brady Schmidt, Adi Zaveri, and John Murray, as well as the 14 graduating seniors recognized during the evening. The Fraternity wishes them continued success as they begin their next chapter as alumni.
