The brothers of the Gamma Rho Chapter at Gannon University recently received multiple honors recognizing their commitment to member development, campus engagement, and leadership. As the 2025-26 academic year came to a close, the chapter earned two university awards, while Chapter President Brendan Murphy '24 was recognized with one of the institution's highest fraternity honors.

Gamma Rho was named the recipient of the Outstanding Membership Development Award for its participation in a national career-focused retreat. The program provided brothers with opportunities to develop professionally, build connections, and prepare for life after graduation. Through experiences like these, the chapter continues to support members as they grow both personally and professionally, helping them make the most of their undergraduate experience while preparing for future success.

The chapter was also honored with the Student Development and Engagement Collaboration Award alongside Gannon University's International Hispanic and American Association. The award recognizes the organizations' ongoing partnership and the successful events they hosted throughout the year. Their collaboration created opportunities for students from across campus to connect, learn from one another, and build meaningful relationships. The recognition highlights the positive impact that student organizations can have when they work together to strengthen their campus community.

In addition to the chapter's achievements, Brendan Murphy was awarded the Fraternity Medal of Honor, the highest individual fraternity recognition presented at Gannon University. The honor is reserved for fraternity members who demonstrate exceptional leadership, service, and commitment to their campus community. Murphy's selection reflects the example he has set throughout his time at Gannon University and the impact he has made as a leader within Gamma Rho.

These recognitions reflect a successful year for the Gamma Rho chapter and the contributions its members continue to make both within the Fraternity and across campus. Congratulations to Brother Murphy and the brothers of Gamma Rho on these well-earned honors.
