Delta Sigma Phi is very proud to share with you that RJ Podeschi, Millikin ’99, has been appointed Interim Dean of the Tabor School of Business at Millikin University. Brother Podeschi is also Associate Professor of Information Systems and Chair of the Tabor School of Business Undergraduate Programs.
Brother Podeschi teaches courses in database and security and has research interests in computing education pedagogy and business intelligence. Prior to his full-time teaching appointment in 2012, RJ served his alma mater (Millikin Class of 2002, MBA Class of 2004) for 11 years in a variety of IT roles, primarily building and maintaining enterprise databases and administrative systems. RJ holds a Master’s of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Illinois, an MBA as well as a Bachelor’s in Management Information Systems from Millikin.
While a Millikin undergraduate, Brother Podeschi was a Founding Father of the Alpha Lambda Chapter and immediately served in key leadership roles, including chapter president. RJ is also a graduate of the Delta Sigma Phi Leadership Institute, along with many Delta Sig / Alpha Lambda alumni. He also attended the 2001 and 2003 National Conventions, received the Order of the Sphinx Award, and served on the strategic planning committee in 2003.
Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity is proud of Brother Podeschi’s new leadership role. RJ stated, “being a Founding Father and Delta Sig student leader will always be one of my fondest memories as a Millikin student. My fraternity leadership experiences and lifelong relationships built with my chapter brothers would not have been possible without the resurgence of Alpha Lambda. The tenants of culture, harmony, and friendship continue to be a part of my guiding principles wherever my professional career takes me.”
