The men of Delta Sigma Phi at West Virginia University proudly welcomed parents, family members, and guests to their new chapter house during Parents Weekend on November 7 and 8. The event marked the first opportunity for many families to see the chapter’s home in person, creating a weekend filled with excitement, pride, and meaningful connection.
Throughout the weekend, brothers guided their families through the spacious facility, offering a look at the home that has become central to their shared experience. The chapter’s Property Manager noted that the house provided ample room for activities and for families to socialize together. The additional space proved especially valuable as the chapter continues to grow in size and momentum. With each new class of brothers, the house will become not only a residence but a gathering place where friendships are strengthened, leadership is fostered, and the Delta Sigma Phi experience continues to evolve.
Parents of upper-class brothers found the weekend particularly meaningful. Many reflected with pride as they saw the progress the chapter has made over the past several years, as well as the strong sense of unity that has guided the members through challenges and achievements alike. For families new to Delta Sigma Phi, the weekend offered a glimpse into the values and traditions that shape the Fraternity’s impact on its members.
Brothers and parents enjoyed time together sharing meals, participating in activities, and learning more about the chapter’s goals for the future. The enthusiasm throughout the house made it clear that this milestone represents far more than a building. It symbolizes the continued growth and dedication of the men who call it home.
As the weekend came to a close, the chapter looked ahead with excitement. The brothers expressed high energy and optimism for the year to come, confident that their new home will support even greater achievements in the future.
