Alumni Recognition

Mike Hoffman Honored with Mr. Delta Sig Award

During Delta Sigma Phi’s 63rd Convention in Los Angeles, Brother Mike Hoffman received the Fraternity’s highest recognition – the Mr. Delta Sig Award. Mike is a 1985 initiate of the Beta Psi chapter and resident of the greater Phoenix area.

Started in 1969, the Mr. Delta Sig Award is the highest recognition bestowed on a Delta Sig alumnus who has given significant service and leadership to our organization. Brother Hoffman served on the Grand Council and as national president from 2005 – 2009 and then as president of the Delta Sigma Phi Foundation from 2013 – 2015. He is one of a few alumni members who served as the board chair for both Delta Sig entities. Mike helped create a new direction of strategy and vision during his leadership, helping to propel Delta Sigma Phi to a new level.

Brother Hoffman continues to serve as president of the alumni corporation board for the Beta Psi chapter at Arizona State University. In addition, he serves as an officer on both the Boy Scout and Girl Scout Boards of Directors and has been recognized with their highest honor, the Silver Buffalo Award. Delta Sigma Phi is truly thankful and proud of Mike for his dedication and leadership to our organization. He and his wife, Maggie, make a difference in the lives of young people all over the country, and we are grateful for all they have done and continue to do.

Be sure to congratulate Mike on this recognition! Thank you for continued support of Delta Sigma Phi and the Better Men like Mike who are living the ideals of our brotherhood.
