As Delta Sigma Phi transitions into our new strategic plan beginning in July 2025, we want to take a moment to thank Brother Scott Wiley, SUNY-Oswego ‘97, for his leadership, dedication, and service on the Foundation Board, especially as Board Chair for the past three years.
Brother Wiley’s contributions during this time paved the way for the future of the Foundation as it prepares to increase its ability to guide, support, and fund our mission of Building Better Men.
“Delta Sigma Phi has been one of the cornerstones of my life for over 25 years. When I first joined Delta Sig, I knew I was joining a fraternity that would help me in a variety of ways. It has been one of the greatest honors of my life to help support our mission, and I look forward to the amazing work the Grand Council, Foundation, and Housing Boards have planned as we celebrate 125 years and beyond,” Brother Wiley reflected.
During Brother Wiley’s tenure as chair, he helped steer the Foundation towards a brighter future including two consecutive years of granting more dollars to the Fraternity than ever before. In addition, he set the tone and framework for how the Delta Sigma Phi Foundation will help guide and support the next strategic plan of Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity.
As the Foundation continues to move into the future, we are excited to announce that Brother Mike Hoffman, Arizona State ’85, has stepped into the role of Foundation Board Chair. Brother Hoffman’s selection for his second term as Chair comes on the heels of his impressive previous leadership as National President from 2005 to 2009 and his pivotal role in creating Vision 2025. He first served as Foundation Chair in 2013, and his experience and strategic acumen make him the ideal leader to guide us through this next chapter.
“I want to thank Brother Scott Wiley for his service and dedication to Delta Sigma Phi. I have had the amazing opportunity to know Scott for over 20 years and his passion and love for Delta Sigma Phi is unparalleled. I look forward to working with my fellow Foundation Trustees as we continue to enhance the level of service we provide young men and our chapters across the country,” noted Brother Hoffman.
Brother Hoffman’s vision and dedication have already proven invaluable. We are confident that his continued leadership will build upon the solid foundation laid by Brother Wiley.
Please join us in expressing our deepest gratitude to Brother Scott Wiley for his extraordinary service and in welcoming Brother Mike Hoffman as the new Chair. The future of the Delta Sigma Phi Foundation is bright, and we are excited to embark on this new journey together.
