Position Summary

The Assistant Director of Health & Safety plays a pivotal role in fostering a safe and supportive environment for Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity members. Working closely with the Senior Associate Director, the Assistant Director oversees the Courage & Culture program suite, develops evidence-based educational initiatives, and cultivates a culture of accountability aligned with the Fraternity’s Code of Conduct and Policies.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the Courage & Culture program suite, encompassing facilitator training and management, chapter prioritization and communication, and stakeholder outreach.
  • Develop and maintain theory-driven and data-backed educational initiatives addressing key health and safety areas, aligning with Delta Sigma Phi’s strategic plan and industry trends.
  • Leverage assessment tools to identify chapter- and organization-level trends, informing further coaching and support interventions.
  • Craft engaging digital resources on crucial health & safety topics, including asynchronous educational modules, website resources, chapter toolkits, and more.
  • Collaborate with other headquarters staff to promote compliance initiatives and uphold organizational standards.
  • Design and deliver online learning workshops tailored to the Fraternity’s needs, including officer, advisor, and volunteer training and education.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned. Examples include, but are not limited to, supporting chapter operations, membership growth, volunteer engagement, membership experience projects. Additionally, Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity staff may be asked to support Delta Sigma Phi Foundation and Housing Corporation projects.
